This place has no respect for others, especially the way they make decisions and handle papers. You can read all information carefully and progress toward making application, but the employees here seem to have the full right to turn down on if they have some personal feelings toward it. They don't need to tell you the exact reason, just say what you need to do next to get the job done (re-do it or cancel the case). The matter isn't the law, but how the employees here feel!!! Moreover, whatever government working protocols you're familiar with in the U.S., those aren't applied here and the employees inside this consulate building have the full right to make it different. Paper you bring from the U.S. with instruction on it may be useless here because this consulate has their own way of working. It's very frustrate when working with them. (I used to work a lot with government offices in the U.S. and I know how they're different from here) Federal employees should be paid more and be capable of doing these diplomatic tasks.

I’ve heard of those Vietnamese who checked the documents at this US consulate were either very rude and/or bluntly unethical. I didn’t care till my wife’s turn applying for a visa. Holly Molly these tiny women insulted my wife that she cried. They treated my wife worse than cattle treated in Texas. I’m working on to rid these cold blooded people via my senators and congress. No one should be treated as such.

I came here for different services. Mostly for my kids, doing their CRBA and recently requested an emergency passport. Everything went smoothly with no trouble or problem. The workers were very nice and helpful. I really hope the US will open another consulate in Da Nang soon.

Nhân viên hướng dẫn tốt, có điều đậu hay rớt visa dựa trên cảm tính là nhiều, mình có quyết định cho nghỉ phép của UBND mà không thèm coi, nghi ngờ ở lại Mỹ, trong khi công việc, nhà cửa đều ở đây

I'm very disappointed on how one of the employees at The US Embassy treated my elderly mother in her interview. My mother is almost 80 yrs and this lady that sorted the paperwork was very rude to her, as well as overlooked the paperwork my mom brought. The US Ambassy needs to hire someone that know how to treat people better especially the elder.

1 nhân viên an ninh quầy rà sót hành lý qua máy lúc 10h ngày 14/06/2023 (nhân viên trẻ, ốm, gầy và đen), rất côn đồ và chợ búa, kém văn minh, thái độ rất trịnh thượng, ta đây. Trong khi những người còn lại mình tiếp xúc qua rất chuyên nghiệp và lịch sự. 1 con sâu làm rầu nồi canh, làm xấu mặc cả một bộ phận nhân viên Lãnh Sự với tất cả người đến phỏng vấn visa tiếp xúc với hắn ta. Mất diện mạo của 1 cơ quan lớn vì 1 thành phần thiếu học thức, lỗ mãn

I am very thankful to everyone at the U.S. Consulate General for helping my family with our emergency passports while in Ho Chi Minh City. Everyone there from the gate security to passport services and most specially the American Citizens Services had been a life saver. We very much appreciate how patient, considerate and professional they all are.
